"We chose the TopBrewer because it was something new and modern" Donna Uden, Head of Projects at ITV
ITV choose iPad coffee machine for Reception rebrand
Despite welcoming many celebrities through its doors every day, the big star of ITV’s new Reception area is proving to be the TopBrewer ‘iPad controlled coffee machine’ from Scanomat. When ITV launched its new branding earlier this year across its five channels, as well as its online and on-demand products, it was only fitting that the Main Reception at ITV South Bank was refurbished to fit with the new creative image.
First impressions are important and the stylish refurbishment is both modern and welcoming. The new bold and colourful branding stands out perfectly against the white modern décor. There is a minimalist feel to the design with a large reception desk, visitor seating area, Tech Zone and coffee station. ITV already had various types of coffee machines throughout its sites but when it came to the rebrand they were keen to find something different. They heard about the TopBrewer bean-to-cup machine through their hospitality and catering service provider, Baxter Storey.
Donna Uden, Head of Projects at ITV comments: “The reaction to the TopBrewer by staff, visitors, guests and even celebrities has been really good; it has generated lots of discussion, to- gether with lots of tweets on Twitter! ITV recommend the TopBrewer.”
She adds: “We chose the TopBrewer because it was something new and modern; plus the iPad interface fitted in with the launch of ITV moving over to Apple technology.”
The TopBrewer has been so successful that ITV are looking to purchase an additional machine if they go ahead with a second Tech Zone adjacent to the Reception desk.
