Tips for preparing your TopBrewer coffee machine for reactivation

With many workplaces and commercial premises starting to plan for re-opening, we are supporting TopBrewer customers with a back-to-work Toolkit

With TopBrewer, users can enjoy a great coffee experience touch-free and at a safe distance.

Our aim is to ensure that users can enjoy their favourite premium drink in the relative safety of your premises, eliminating the need to grab a coffee on the way in or pop out during the day. This will reduce the number of interactions they have with contacts outside of work and social circles.

With this in mind, we would like to bring your attention to some simple steps to follow that will help to ensure your coffee machines are quickly up and running, with fresh coffee flowing, as soon as it is time to switch them back on again - one less thing for you to worry about.

How to safely reactivate your TopBrewer:

  1. Turn the mains water and power back on but do not switch on the TopBrewer
  2. Flush Brita water filter fitted to your TopBrewer (Click here for instructions or contact us to request support)
  3. Remove milk container & clean thoroughly, including the milk tube(s)
  4. Switch on the TopBrewer
  5. Follow the TopBrewer automatic clean cycle x 2 using a TopBrewer cleaning tablet. You can find instructions for the full cleaning cycle in our cleaning manuals:

  6. Wipe clean and disinfect all areas of the TopBrewer, including swan neck, iPad screen, drip tray, fridge seals and external surfaces
  7. Set up TopBrewer with fresh milk & TopBrewer fresh unopened bag of coffee beans. (Remove stale beans from hopper(s) & throw away. Throw away any open bags of beans. If applicable, throw away any open packs of BIB Chocolate
  8. Dispense 2 off each milk based coffee drink, hot water, sparkling water, chilled water & chocolate (as applicable for your specification)
  9. Activate your free CoffeeCloud subscription and download your COVID-19 screensaver here
  10. Download the TopBrewer app which is available on iOS and Android for a touch-free coffee experience. #BetheBarista

In addition, here are some simple steps to reactivate your TopJuicer or TopWater machines (if applicable).

How to safely reactivate your TopJuicer:

  1. Turn the mains water & power back on to all equipment

  2. Flush Brita water filter fitted to your TopJuicer (Click here for instructions or contact us to request support)

  3. Run a full clean cycle x 2

  4. Set up TopJuicer with new previously unopened juice boxes (throw away any opened boxes)

  5. Dispense 2 of each selection

  6. Wipe clean and disinfect all areas of the TopJuicer, including swan neck, drip tray, iPad screen and external surfaces

 

How to safely reactivate your TopWater:

  1. Turn the water & power back on to all equipment

  2. Flush Brita water filter fitted to your TopWater (Click here for instructions or contact us to request support)

  3. Flush filters. (Support will be provided)

  4. Run off 2 litres of sparkling & chilled water

  5. Wipe clean and disinfect all areas of the TopWater including the stainless steel buttons.
