Shine a light: Salesforce provides free access to technology during COVID-19 crisis

We would like to shine a light on our client Salesforce which has provided free access to its technology during the COVID-19 crisis, as well as donating $1.5m to support not-for profit efforts to respond to the global pandemic.

The cloud-based software company has pledged to help communities and customers navigate new challenges surrounding remote working by offering a range of its services for free during these uncertain times.

Salesforce is providing free access for 90 days to its Salesforce Care platform to help small businesses and healthcare providers to provide rapid response to employees and customers. Initially set up for healthcare providers to deal with an influx of requests, the solution has now been made available to all industries to help them stay connected remotely. Salesforce Care can be set up quickly and easily and is available now.

Another tool Salesforce has made free for a limited period is Quip, a tool that helps teams collaborate effectively in a virtual environment whilst working from home.

At Scanomat UK & Ireland, we have been using Salesforce CRM for the past 7 years and it is has been a vital tool in helping to grow our business from scratch. Well done to Salesforce for providing access to your market-leading tools to businesses and key workers in this time of crisis.
