Smart TopBrewer coffee machine selected for “ultra-sustainable” Windmill Green in Manchester
Dubbed the most sustainable building in Manchester, Windmill Green on Mount Street is the first multi-let building in the City to achieve an “Outstanding” BREEAM rating and is also said to be the most cycle-friendly building in Manchester.
The building has a strong community feel with the lower floors dedicated to co-working. An impressive communal feature of the building is “The Pavillion” on the top floor designed by office interior specialists, Sheila Bird Group. This breakout space is open to everyone in the building and boasts a rooftop terrace with stunning panoramic views across Manchester’s skyline.
When choosing a premium coffee machine for the communal area, the iPad-controlled TopBrewer was the obvious choice to provide freshly-roasted coffee and other refreshing drinks in an innovative and streamlined way.
Sheila Bird Group’s Founder, Atul Bansal specified TopBrewer for the project. He said:
“It was really refreshing to work on a project with sustainability in its soul, and that is what Windmill Green is all about. For us, as designers, it was important to incorporate forward-thinking products and materials to complement the strong ‘green’ ethos of the building.”
