Growing software company, LogMeIn, has installed five TopBrewers to provide a premium coffee experience in its striking new Dublin office
LogMeIn’s new home is at the Reflector, one of the most prestigious office developments in Ireland, with a striking profile situated in Dublin’s Grand Canal Dock area, and with water frontage spanning almost 75 metres on Hanover Quay.
The move has created more than double the previous office space for LogMeIn’s expanding workforce, now at 165 employees and projected to grow to 250.
With employee recruitment and retention in mind, LogMeIn has created a top-class workplace with flexible offices and communal spaces for employees, designed to encourage collaborative working.
An important part of the fit-out for this new and stylish working environment was the choice of a premium drinks offering that catered for all tastes, with the design and functionality to meet the expectations of a high-tech software company.
Audrey Wilhite, Office Manager at LogMeIn Dublin, explains:
“We had almost made the decision on a replacement for our previous coffee pod system with a table-top bean-to-cup system, when one of our directors mentioned his experience of the TopBrewer at FKM in Dublin and recommended that we take a look. Brian Kelly from Scanomat in Ireland was able to quickly arrange a demo and, from then on, we were hooked!”
TopBrewers are now installed at tea stations across four floors, with two on the 4th floor to cater for this busier area.
Employees enjoy a full range of premium coffee options including current favourites, cappuccino, americano, flat white and espresso. Hot water for tea, chocolate, warm and cold milk are also available from the same signature TopBrewer swan-neck tap.
“We tasted a variety of coffee options and loved the range and quality of drinks available from the TopBrewer. The style and simplicity of the iPad touch-screen operation has been a real winner with our employees.”
LogMeIn were also impressed with TopBrewer’s environmentally-friendly credentials. Made from recycled steel and using up to 90% less energy in its idle state than competitor models, fresh water is flash-heated for every drink eliminating the need for a hot water boiler. The TopBrewer has been designed so that harsh cleaning chemicals are not required, which is beneficial to the environment as well as a cost saving. The coffee beans are sourced from farms with direct and transparent trading relationships, and where collaborating with the coffee growers helps them to set and achieve their sustainability goals.
