Photo diary: Barista’s on Tour!
Last month our customer experience and barista team headed back to coffee school at our headquarters in Copenhagen to brush up on their coffee knowledge. The aim of the trip was to visit our coffee roastery to get an in-depth understanding of our Amokka Coffee range, including the coffee roasting process and our Direct Trade principles. Take a look at their photo diary…
The team arrive in Copenhagen – fresh-faced and ready to drink lots of coffee!
First stop is a tour around the Amokka roastery. We operate a micro-roastery which means we roast our coffee in small batches ‘on demand’ for optimum flavour and freshness.
Fresh green coffee beans arrived from our Direct Trade partner in Brazil, Fazenda Progresso.
Now to try some new coffees from the Amokka range… this process is called ‘cupping’.
Abbi and Natasha always have time for a quick selfie!
Now for some hard work… debating the perfect TopBrewer coffee recipe with our Danish colleagues.
What a privilege, a talk from one of our Direct Trade partners from Ethiopia about how they grow their coffee.
Final stop of the day is a trip to our very own flagship TopBrewer Cafe in Copenhagen.
