Danish Coffee Roasting Champion 2020

Ante Bikic crowned Danish Coffee Roasting champion

We are proud to present our Head Roaster, Ante Bikic who has won the title of Danish Coffee Roasting champion 2020.

The Speciality Coffee Association of Denmark held the competition over the weekend at The Factory in Copenhagen from Friday 25th until Sunday 27th September 2020.

Ante competed against three other incredibly talented coffee roasters, Nobuarki Matsui, Reza Anissi and Rasmus Madsen, for the title of Denmark’s best coffee roaster 2020.

We are extremely proud of Ante for this incredible achievement which commends the distinguished work he does at Amokka Coffee Roasters to deliver exceptional quality coffee for our customers and all TopBrewer coffee machines worldwide.

We look forward to seeing Ante compete in 2021, for the title of World Coffee Roasting Champion.

Scanomat UK expands London team with two appointments

Innovative coffee solutions provider, Scanomat UK Limited has today announced that it has expanded its London team following a succession of growth in the capital and across the UK since the business launched 10 years ago.

Despite the global COVID-19 pandemic and UK lockdown, Scanomat is experiencing increased demand for it’s flagship product, TopBrewer, due to its ‘touchless’ app-control technology, minimalist design and CoffeeCloud remote management, aligned with businesses preparing to create safer, more reassuring environments for staff and customers as they adapt to a ‘new normal’.

The expansion sees two appointments, Ellie Corkery and Tom Martin, who will be joining Scanomat’s Business Development team based in London. Both recruits will be responsible for helping to grow the TopBrewer brand across workplace, hospitality and retail sectors, whilst offering a fantastic level of service to Scanomat’s new and existing high profile clients.
